Ira Glass on Creative Work

Posted by: Myk Likhov

Saw some footage of Ira Glass talking about the process of developing one’s creative work. Super candid and inspiring. He point-blank states that if he’s pretty great at what he does (and he is), it’s because it took him a long time and a lot of effort to achieve excellence.

The great image comes from Brother Teresa blog.

If you don’t know, Ira is the radio personality, host and producer of the radio and television show This American Life. Here’s a video of him discussing the same points.

Note to self – I will make a lot of crap, before my execution catches up with my creative ambition. Got it.
